New Main Lift Station in Reid Park

The new Main Lift Pumping Station in Reid Park is online and operating properly and all site restoration has been completed. The above ground Reid Park restrooms and pavilion building is open for business and all site restoration has been completed.

Although the majority of Reid Park is fenced off, the grass is germinating and should be ready for pedestrian traffic by mid-summer. Daily watering will continue when necessary.

The new Main Lift Station in Reid Park has been activiated following the testing process. The final setback in the initial construction schedule was caused when the generator delivery was delayed by several months. The restroom/pavilion building was completed, with the exception of some exterior painting, in October 2006.

Project Update

Magill Construction has completed most of the work on the new bathroom/pavilion building being constructed on top of the new Main Lift Station in Reid Park.
